Discover the Taste of Gragnano

Beautifully twisted and full of character, Fusillata Casareccia is a traditional pasta shape inspired by the handmade techniques of southern Italy. Crafted by Pastificio Di Martino in Gragnano, the historic home of Italian pasta, it is made using 100% Italian durum wheat, bronze drawn for a wonderfully rough texture and slowly dried to preserve its exceptional flavour and bite.

Its elegant spiral shape is designed to embrace every spoonful of sauce, making it the perfect choice for everything from rustic tomato sauces to slow-cooked ragù and fresh vegetable dishes.

Why We Chose It

At Tutto Napule, we believe pasta should do more than fill a plate it should celebrate centuries of craftsmanship and regional tradition.

Fusillata Casareccia is a wonderful example of how Italian pasta makers have perfected the relationship between shape and sauce over generations. Produced by Pastificio Di Martino, it brings together the heritage of Gragnano with the everyday joy of sharing authentic Italian food.

About Pastificio Di Martino

Founded in 1912, Pastificio Di Martino has been producing artisan pasta in Gragnano, Campania, for more than a century.

Known as the City of Pasta, Gragnano has long benefited from its mountain air, natural spring water and ideal climate for drying pasta. Combining these natural advantages with traditional bronze dies and slow drying techniques, Di Martino continues to produce pasta that honours one of Italy's greatest culinary traditions.

A Little Piece of Campania

Across Campania, meals are rarely rushed.

Family recipes are passed from one generation to the next, sauces simmer gently throughout the morning and choosing the right pasta shape is considered just as important as choosing the right ingredients.

Fusillata Casareccia reflects that philosophy perfectly. Its carefully formed twists are designed to capture every drop of sauce, ensuring nothing is left behind.

From the Campanian Kitchen

Traditional Neapolitan cooking often pairs twisted pasta with sauces rich in vegetables, tomatoes or slow-cooked meat.

The spiral shape gently traps the sauce within each curve, creating beautifully balanced flavour in every mouthful while adding a satisfying texture that makes the dish feel both rustic and refined.

Did You Know?

The name Casareccia comes from the Italian word "casa," meaning home. It refers to pasta shapes inspired by handmade, home-style traditions that have been enjoyed throughout southern Italy for generations.
